Fusion Silver was founded with the intent to provide unique hand crafted silver jewelry.  Fusion Silver is a synthesis of techniques drawn from different disciplines and various cultures, fashions and historical periods.

A lifelong interest in various knots that were both decorative and useful led Dale into the art of jewelry making.  Inspiration is drawn from medieval traditions and his lifelong interest in nautical rope work.   Each jewelry creation is individually handcrafted, incorporating various designs and concepts from chainmaile, artistic knots and traditional silversmithing processes.  Quality materials including semi-precious stones, beads, Sterling Silver and 14karat Gold Filled wire are used throughout.

Creating visually interesting quality designs that please both the wearer and the viewer is our ultimate goal and greatest satisfaction.

Designs available from Fusion Silver differ from those available at chain jewelry stores and department stores in that the designs are generally one of a kind or produced in very limited quantities.

Ruth’s interest in designing and creating jewelry developed through our first year of participating in art shows. Her desire to contribute new designs has brought many unique items to our customers.  Ruth is our business manager who has turned crocheting and knitting lessons from her grandmother into beautiful jewelry designs.   Ruth’s designs are created from fine gauge Silver and 14karat Gold Filled wire with stone beads and fresh water pearls incorporated into many designs.

Dale received training through Colorado Academy of Silversmithing and Art Metal in Boulder, Colorado.  Continuing education has occurred through Pratt Fine Arts Center of Seattle, Washington.
